North America’s leading eco papers are easy to find in Canopy’s new and improved Eco Paper Database
By: Neva Murtha, Canopy
It’s been a mountain of work but we are happy to share that the premiere, independent resource for finding North America’s leading environmental papers is newly updated and ready to serve you better. With so many mills making eco paper claims it’s essential that companies promoting sustainable brands choose and use eco papers that have earned the Environmentally Superior designation from leading environmental organizations. Canopy’s Eco Paper Database, supported by the Environmental Paper Network, is the best place to find these papers.
The Eco Paper Database includes more than 350 of the greenest printing and writing eco papers in North America. And now it includes 85 new papers, as well as the most comprehensive list of agricultural residue papers available!
All papers listed in the database have been screened according to The Paper Steps, a system developed by consensus of the Steering Committee organizations of the Environmental Paper Network. Canopy has been maintaining the database for 10 years now, and we are very excited to share these updates with you.
The Eco Paper Database is easy to use. Just search the list by company name, type of paper, or other options. Choose multiple categories to narrow your search, such as looking for --> [copy paper] --> that is designated [Environmentally Superior] by the Environmental Paper Network’s Paper Steps. This will give you a detailed list of the greenest copy papers on the market.
